EVERCOAT Poly-Flex Putty

EVERCOAT Poly-Flex Putty is a flexible polyester glazing putty designed for spot filling and skim coating over areas on flexible bumpers and plastic parts. Its flowable viscosity is ideal for filling minor imperfections such as: sand scratches, nicks, dings and gouges. Poly-Flex may also be used to skim coat over repair areas or large surface areas that have the original paint intact. It produces a fine, smooth, glossy finish that requires minimal finishing.

2K Putty for Plastic Bumpers

Adhesion is outstanding on plastics. Poly-flex provides an ultra-fine featheredge that resists swelling when top coated. Poly-flex can also be used on rigid plastics, fiberglass, SMC and metal surfaces.

Extremely flexibele 2K putty

EVERCOAT Poly-Flex Putty is known for its extreme flexibility. Can be bent up a to a 77% bend making it ideal for the flexibility of plastic bumpers.

How to apply EVERCOAT Poly-Flex Putty

Before you apply EVERCOAT Poly-Flex Putty, the surface must be clean and dust free. Clean the surface with a powerful degreaser to ensure a clean, dust and silicone-free surface.

Apply the 2K putty in thin layers with even pressure and spread it out smoothly. We advise to avoid using the putty on fresh or uncured paint and coatings.

What is the mixing ratio?

  • Mix the putty with 2 to 3% hardener. If in doubt, use a scale during mixing.
  • Mix carefully and avoid withdrawing air during mixing. Air bubbles result in imperfections during the application and sanding of the filler.
