Car window de-icer. How do I use it?

Car window de-icer you use yourself in 3 simple steps. With this special de-icing spray you can quickly make your car windows ice-free. Just follow the steps below!

  1. Start the engine of your car and turn on the heater. For best results, we recommend turning on the windshield heater. This speeds up the defrosting process.
  2. Shake the defrost spray well before use. Spray evenly on the glass of the frozen car windshield. Then let it act for a few seconds. Usually 30 seconds is sufficient.
  3. Remove the melted ice. This can be done with the windshield wipers, a microfiber cloth or a snow brush. Done!

With an ice scraper, you run the risk of scratching the glass. With a car de-icer spray, you don't! When do you use car windshield de-icer?

You can use car window de-icer at different times to make glass ice-free. A de-icing spray for your car is especially important when you have little time and want to get on the road quickly where you want to safely participate in traffic. For example, if you want to go to work or school early in the morning and clear frozen car windows in a quick and easy way. You can also use a window defroster when:

  • You simply don't feel like using an ice scraper in the cold to go scratch the ice off your car windows.
  • You prefer to sit warm in the car when your frozen car windows will be defrosted thanks to the spray
  • You want to prevent damage to the glass of the windows. This often occurs with an ice scraper or hot water.

Tip: You can also use a car window defroster just before you park and expect frost. Preemptively spray the defroster on your car and prevent ice from adhering to the windows.
