VHT Flameproof Cast iron spray can

VHT Flameproof Cast iron spray can is a fireproof exhaust paint that is heat-resistant up to 1100°C. This VHT Flameproof aerosol has been specially developed to spray your exhaust in a new colour Cast iron and to protect it against rust and corrosion. With the VHT Flameproof aerosol Cast iron, you will give the exhaust of your car, motorbike or scooter a new fresh colour!

Exhaust paint Cast iron

Exhaust paint Cast iron is specially heat-resistant up to 1100 degrees Celsius. Exhaust gases generate extreme temperatures, and not every paint can withstand this heat. This exhaust paint is specially designed to withstand the high temperatures your exhaust produces. As a result, the paint remains durable and retains its colour even under the most demanding conditions. With Cast iron exhaust paint, you won't have to worry about discolouration or flaking off.

How to paint exhaust by coating?

VHT Flameproof is a fireproof paint for painting your exhaust. You can easily do this yourself with the step-by-step plan below. In 5 steps, you will spray the exhaust paint Cast iron in the right way for the desired effect.

  1. Remove any loose paint and rust.
  2. Clean the surface thoroughly by using a good degreaser.
  3. Spray the surface with primer. Use the VHT SP118 Primer spray can for this purpose.
  4. Shake the VHT Flameproof aerosol well before use. Spray several layers of exhaust paint until the desired coverage is achieved. Note that you should pause for 5 minutes between coats to allow the paint to evaporate properly.
  5. After the last coat, you should "bake" the paint to allow it to cure completely. This can be done in the oven or by letting the engine idle.

How to dry VHT Flameproof?

You can dry VHT Flameproof in two ways, by idling the engine or in an oven. See how to do this below.

  1. Let the engine idle for 10 minutes.
  2. Cool down for 20 minutes.
  3. Let the engine idle for 20 minutes.
