Can the car sponge be washed?

We recommend washing the Turtle Wax Grime Warrior by hand and rinsing it thoroughly. Certain types of washing machines may damage the wax sponge. Wash with a mild liquid detergent (without fabric softener) and hand dry. Add 1/4 cup of white distilled vinegar to increase softness. After washing, the sponge may become more pliable.
