Protect wiring against corrosion and rust
Tectyl Multi Purpose Transparent is a solvent cutback, resin based, transparent, corrosion preventive. It has good water displacing properties and can be used as a versatile corrosion protective for a wide variety of applications on ferrous and non-ferrous metals: Automotive, Marine, Household and Industrial like tools, chromium-plated parts (wheels of bicycles). Provides special protection to industrial and auto electrical wiring and contacts such as ignition coils, spark plugs wires and terminals.
Surface preparation
The maximum performance of Tectyl MP Transparent can be achieved only when the metal surfaces to be protected are clean, dry and free of rust, oil and mill scale and a substrate temperature of 10-35 °C at the time of product application.
