Primer for SIKA adhesives and sealants

SIKA Primer-207 is a special primer for SIKA adhesives and sealants. The SIKA 207 primer ensures better adhesion of the SIKAFLEX adhesives and sealants to various substrates such as plastic, coated surfaces, automotive paint, metal, flat glass and glass with a ceramic edge.

SIKA Primer-207 is produced according to ISO 9001/14001 quality assurance system and under the "responsible care" program.

How do I use the SIKA 207 primer?

Before you apply SIKA 207 primer, it is imperative that the surface is completely clean and dry. This means that the surface must be grease-free, oil-free and dust-free. The can of SIKA Primer-207 should be shaken thoroughly until the mixing ball audibly rattles freely through the can. After this you should continue shaking for another minute to ensure that all components are well mixed with each other. Then apply a thin but opaque coat with a brush or felt pad. Note that this layer should be opaque in one go. The ideal application and surface temperature is between 15°C and 25°C.
