The innovative FRONT-7Z from SAM is a special battery inspection lamp with adjustable headband and a motion activated sensor allowing the user to turn the head torch on without using the buttons – simply place a hand in front closely to the front of the light. Although it produces an impressive output and several lighting options, this head torch is lightweight, so will not be a burden on the user’s head or neck.

How does an LED headlamp differ from a flashlight and what is it used for?

The SAM FRONT-7Z Sensor Head Torch is perfect for handsfree use, whether in the garage, around the house, or out cycling. When used on the sensor mode the torch can be turned on by passing your hand in front of the torch (within 10cm) and can also be turned off the same way. This makes it ideal for tradesmen who have their hands full with tools, fixings etc, simply wave your hand to activate the torch, not having to put things down to turn it on.
