Rust-Oleum X1 multipurpose spray is a general purpose lubricating fluid developed by Rust-Oleum that protects and cleans metal and plastic parts. This excellent penetrating fluid has anti-corrosion and water-repellent properties. It leaves a protective film layer after use.

What can lubricating oil be used for?

Lubricating oil is ideal for

• Cables, chains, locks, switches and contacts
• Protecting metal surfaces from rust
• Removes oil, grease, wax and leaves a protective film after cleaning
• Protection of electrical terminals from moisture and corrosion
• Displaces water in automotive ignition circuits and contacts
• Loosens rusted parts
• Helps to remove adhesive labels

How do I use Rust-Oleum lubricating oil?

Ensure electrical equipment is insulated and check surfaces for compatibility before application. Clean and remove old lubricant.

1. Apply at temperatures between 5° and 35°C.
2. Shake spray can before use.
3. Spray a light film on the surface from 20 to 30 cm.
4. Do not over apply.
