How do I use the metal paint?

Rustoleum textured paint is easy to use without primer or primer. Use the step-by-step instructions below.

1. To determine if the color is suitable, test it in advance on an inconspicuous area. Cover surrounding surfaces to protect them from spray mist. Remove oil, grease and other surface contaminants with a suitable cleaning agent. Remove loose rust by scraping, brushing with a wire brush or sanding. Lightly sand surfaces that have already been painted. For non-ferrous metal and galvanized metal, prime first with Rust-Oleum Metal Expert special adhesion primer.
2. Stir the product thoroughly before applying. Apply the product in 1 to 2 coats with a suitable brush or roller.
3. Dust dry after 2 hours.
4. Dry after 8 hours. If necessary, a second coat can be applied after 16 hours.
5. Fully cured after 7 days.

Not recommended for use in damp conditions or when the temperature is below 10°C.
