Rust-Oleum Epoxy Repair Mortar Deep Fill is a high-strength epoxy repair mortar for fast and economical repair of deep holes in concrete floors. The epoxy mortar guarantees permanent repair of cracked concrete floors and is suitable for holes from 15 - 100mm deep.

Concrete floor repair

Repairing a concrete floor is absolutely necessary before painting a floor. This is because floor paint cannot properly adhere to the surface if there are holes and unevenness. For best results, a smooth surface is crucial. If you repair a concrete floor, it will last longer and look nicer.

Epoxy mortar

What is epoxy mortar? Mortar is mainly used to bond different surfaces together. Epoxy repair can be used to fill cracks or holes, as well as a leveling mortar to repair damages in floors.

How do I use the repair mortar?

Rustoleum concrete repair is easy to use. Use the step-by-step instructions below.

1. Concrete and stone surfaces must be dry, all previous coatings, dirt and loose material must be removed, and the surfaces must be at least four weeks old.
2. The package contains a granular resinous material and a bottle of hardener.Mix the granular resinous material with the hardener on a plate. It is important to mix carefully and thoroughly. Since the mixing ratio is critical, the entire container should be mixed. Mixing smaller,self-measured quantities, is not recommended.
3. Temperature of material, environment and substrate between 5 and 35°C. Relative humidity below 85%. Temperature of the substrate must be at least 3°C above the dew point.
4. The mortar must be firmly pressed to the substrate with a trowel. In case of heavy loading or if the thickness of the repair is less than 15 mm, the entire surface must be finished with Rust-Oleum Epoxy Repair Mortar 5180. Deep Fill Mortar 5190 has a textured surface. If a smooth finish is required, the assembly should also be finished with Rust-Oleum Epoxy Repair Mortar 5180. The application time of the mixed product is approximately 30 to 60 minutes depending on temperature. If the product is used after the processing time has expired, this will make application more difficult and will also reduce adhesion.
5. Can be repainted: 6-12 hours
6. Fully cured: 12 hours
7. Pot life: 30 min

Depending on many factors such as porosity and roughness of the substrate and material loss during application, consumption is difficult to estimate. Theoretical consumption is 0.5 m² per 25 kg at 3 cm depth.
