Rust-Oleum CombiColor Aqua Primer

Metal paint from Rust-Oleum is a primer and topcoat in one, based on a waterborne acrylic modified alkyd resin with excellent drying properties. However, for primed steel surfaces or metal structures in more aggressive industrial loads, we recommend using metal paint primer for better adhesion and durability.

How do I use CombiColor Metal Paint from Rust-Oleum?

Remove oil, grease and all other contaminants by alkaline or high-pressure (steam) cleaning in combination with appropriate agents. Remove rust crusts, loose rust, loose roller skin and loose paint layers by scraper and/or wire brush. Sand intact old paint layers to ensure good adhesion

  1. Galvanized, zinc and aluminum substrates should be primed with Rust-Oleum CombiColor Aqua Primer.
  2. Stir the metal paint for at least 2 minutes for good homogeneity.
  3. Apply the 2 coats of metal paint with a brush or roller.
  4. Easy to roll Rustoleum metal paint with a paint roller? Then dilute it 3% with water.
  5. Paint brush: use a brush with synthetic bristles.
  6. Paint roller: use short-haired polyamide (6-12mm) rollers.
