About the RUPES LS71 Sander with delta sanding pad

The RUPES LS71 is an electric sander with delta sanding pad. This means that the sanding pad of the sander is shaped like a triangle. With a delta sander you are able to sand any surface and old layers of paint and varnish to a smooth and tight surface. The triangle-shaped sanding pad makes this sander a popular tool for painters, contractors, hobbyists and do-it-yourselfers. The tip of the sander can be used to electrically sand corners and hard-to-reach areas. The RUPES LS71 Delta sander has a powerful 200-watt motor, 2mm sanding circle and a velcro sanding pad with 12 dust holes to extract sanding dust.

The RUPES LS71 Delta sander comes in a RUPES Systainer Box. The Systainer is made of high-quality and impact-resistant plastic in RUPES brand colors. The RUPES Systainer Box has a top opening that can be locked thanks to a solid closure on the front of the Box. In addition, the Systainer is equipped with a carrying handle on the top of lid. This allows the Box to be easily carried and taken on site or in the car. The inside of the Systainer is equipped with a soft foam insert, allowing the machine to be stored and transported damage-free and gently.

This RUPES LS71 Delta Sander comes in a RUPES Systainer and is available in two different versions. Here you have the choice of buying the sander with or without speed controller. In both versions, the machine comes with a Venturi Dust Extraction Unit. This is placed on the back of the machine, enabling you to sand dust-free without the need for a sanding vacuum cleaner!

Fine machine
Machine is not heavy, easy to handle. Noticed that the sanded dust is sucked in well.
Noise is less than the Metabo delta sander I bought just before this.
I have the version with speed control. I bought an extra sanding pad just in case. All in all, a nice machine to work with. Top purchase

Ideal for corners and joinery
Ideal machine for joinery work, for me as a painter ideal thanks to adjustable speed, optimal in combination with other machines from rupes and this qausi dust free. Good robust machine and light in the hand, also lightweight compared to other machines and with the T-box ideal for storage and professional impression, already have colleagues who are still surprised by the quality and ease of use similar to Festool, ideal to start for this price

Fine machine
Was looking for a good Delta sander to sand window frames with lots of nooks and crannies. Material removal is fine and barely inferior to the larger and considerably more expensive Festool eccentric sander I have next to it. Ease of use also good, especially the dust filter does a good job and picks up a lot of dust. Although for big jobs I prefer to use the vacuum cleaner. I've spent several hours sanding and about ten sheets further. The tip of the foot has been damaged and has lost some of its adhesive power. But then again, this is a wear-sensitive part and will probably last longer on flatter surfaces.
