PPG SPP3006 Adhesion Wipes

PPG Epoxy Adhesion Wipes are special wipes developed for the pretreatment of bare metal surfaces. Soaked with a chromium-free, water-based epoxy, this wipe is suitable for surface treatment of aluminum, steel, stainless steel, as well as galvanized and blasted metal surfaces. The reaction of this pretreatment improves the adhesion and corrosion resistance of the 2K primer applied afterwards.

How do I use PPG's adhesion wipes?

SPP3006 Adhesion Wipes are very easy to use. Just follow the steps below:

1. Sand the surface if necessary and degrease thoroughly.
2. Wipe evenly and crosswise on the surface.
3. Bare metal should remain wet for at least one minute, this will ensure durability.
4. Avoid using one cloth on different types of metals.
5. After use, all PPG 2K primers are suitable.
6. After the application/wetting process of about one minute, an evaporation time of 5 minutes must be observed.
7. After this, a 2K primer should be applied within 15 minutes.
