Step-by-step plan: applying car striping
Car striping is applied using the step-by-step plan below. The HPX striping tape is easy to apply and simple to use. This allows you to apply car striping yourself with the HPX tape.
- To apply car striping, the paint must be dry and clean. Use a degreaser for this purpose.
- Think carefully beforehand where you want to apply the striping tape to the car.
- Take your time when applying car striping. Hurrying is counterproductive.
- Stick the striping tape in small pieces on the car paint. Avoid applying too large pieces all at once.
- Press the HPX striping tape lightly (do not press the tape too hard the first time). This allows you to easily reposition striping tape if needed.
- Satisfied with the placement of striping tape on the car? Now press it hard so it sticks well to the car paint.
- Done! Avoid getting the car striping tape wet for at least 24 hours. This will allow the HPX tape to properly adhere to the paint.
