Spray Guns
The Best Automotive Paint Guns
CROP offers an extensive range of paint sprayers. Spray guns are available in low or high pressure and electric or compressed air. Spray painting is delicate work that requires time, precision, skill, and the appropriate equipment to get the job done. For that reason, tool versatility is important in this category. Before investing in an automotive paint gun, you must determine the type that works best for your intended application. The tool falls into two main categories, including high volume low pressure (HVLP) and low volume low pressure (LVLP) devices.
Different Types of Spray Guns
- Gravity Spray Gun
- Suction Spray Gun
- Pressure Spray Gun
- Compressed Air Paint Gun
- Airless Spray Gun
Spray Gun Nozzle Tip Size
Choosing the right spray gun nozzle might seem like a difficult job. However, you'll achieve the best results when you refer to the paint manufacturers technical data sheets for that particular product you're spraying.
A general rule of thumb is:
- 2K Car Spray Paint 1.3 to 1.4
- Clearcoat 1.2 to 1.4
- Primer 1.7 to 2.2
- Spray putty 2.5 to 3.0
Please keep in note that this is a general rule of thumb. Many car painters achieve outstanding results from unorthodox methods.
