MoTip Heat Resistant Paint DARK ANTHRACITE spray with an excellent adhesion is resistant to petrol, chemical and weather influences. This dark anthracite spray paint is heat resistant up to 800°C. This lacquer is specially designed to paint surfaces that are exposed to very high temperatures such as the exhaust of a car, BBQ or heater. The MoTip heat resistant paint in dark anthracite colour has a fast drying and high coverage on any surface.

How to use heat resistant spray paint dark anthracite

Always wondered how to use dark anthracite heat resistant spray paint? In just a few simple steps you can use this heat resistant lacquer in dark anthracite color.

1. Pre Treatment: The surface should be clean, dry and free of grease. Remove loose old lacquer and rust and sand the surface. Do not apply any primer.
2. Treatment: The surface should be clean, dry and free of grease. The aerosol should have room temperature. Best processing temperature 10 to 25°C.
3. Before use, shake the aerosol for 2 minutes and spray a sample. Distance to the surface to be treated approximately 25 to 30cm.
4. Apply the heat resistant lacquer in several thin layers. Before applying the next layer, again shake the aerosol. Allow to dry at room temperature for one hour. Then, heat for 30 to 60 minutes (200°C) in order to harden the paint layer. Smoke develops during the lacquer hardening process.
5. After use, clean the valve (turn aerosol upside down and press the nozzle for approximately 5 seconds).
6. The drying time depends on the ambient temperature, the humidity of the air and the thickness of the lacquer applied.
