MIRKA Remint 30 is a medium coarse abrasive for reviving scratched phone screens. The abrasive paste permanently removes scratches and restores uniform luster to chemically reinforced glass. Used devices with neglected screens are restored to new condition without having to replace the screen. It is suitable for glass used in screens of electronics such as cell phones, tablets, smartwatches, etc.

How do I remove scratches from glass?

1. Before you start sanding, it's important to make sure the device is waterproof. Seal any critical openings.
2. Measure the scratch depth to choose the right grit abrasive (10 is the coarsest and 50 the finest). Sanding time depends on scratch depth, glass quality and phone model.
3. Shake bottle well before use and make sure it cannot move while sanding/polishing.
4. Sand with a small amount of sanding paste combined with the Remint copper pad on an eccentric sander (MIRKA Deros 350CV) to remove the scratch.
5. Repeat the process until you have a uniform, matte surface.
6. The surface can now be polished in two steps. To do this, use MIRKA Remint H (manual) or MIRKA Remint M (machine).

Depending on the depth of the scratch, a second sanding step may be required.
