How can I polish my headlights?

To properly repair car headlights with the Koch Chemie Headlight Repair Kit, we recommend performing the following steps.

1. Clean the surface and tape surrounding areas of the hood, fenders, radiator grille and bumper with masking tape.
2. Depending on the weathering, sand the surface with P1000 for heavily yellowed headlights.
3. Repeat this step with P2000 and P4000 until an evenly sanded surface is obtained.
4. If the headlights are only slightly dull, sanding can be skipped.
5. Polish the surface with Headlight Polish 1 using the Heavy Cut Pad or Lambswool Pad.
6. When used with a rotary polisher, it is advisable to apply polishing paste at medium speed.
7. Polish the surface to a high-gloss finish with Headlight Polish 2 and the Thermo Pad.
