Grit guard

The biggest advantage of a bucket with grit guard is that it helps prevent scratches and swirls while washing your car. When you fill a wash bucket with soap and water, dirt particles and contaminants can easily collect at the bottom. When dipping your wash mitt or sponge into the bucket, these particles can end up on your cleaning tools and then rubbed on car paint. In addition, a grit guard promotes more effective cleaning by trapping dirt particles at the bottom.

Car wash

When washing your car, we recommend using the two bucket method. As the name suggests, this method involves using two buckets while washing your car. You fill the first bucket with clean water to which you add car shampoo, the second bucket you use for rinsing. Dip your wash mitt or sponge into the bucket of clean water and car shampoo (bucket 1) and wash a section of the car. Then rinse your wash mitt or sponge in the bucket with the grit guard (bucket 2) to wash away dirt and contaminants. You keep repeating this process.
