Kip 3843 Drywall Tape

Kip 3843 Mesh Tape is a fiberglass tape for bridging joints and cracks in putty and plaster work. Rebar mesh is used after drywall is installed against ceilings and walls.

Mesh tape

What is mesh tape? The plasterer uses mesh tape plaster to eliminate gaps, seams, cracks, joints or holes in walls, partitions or ceilings. Mesh tape is self-adhesive, easy to fix and characterized by a coarse textile texture.

Why finish drywall?

3843 from Kip is used to finish drywall without plastering. This is because it is important to neatly cover joints, seams and screw holes between the drywall. Movement and vibration in the foundation of the structure can cause cracks to appear in your home. If you don't use joint tape, you run the risk of cracks forming after finishing.
