Kip Carpet Tape

Kip 341 Carpet Tape is designed to hold carpets in place and prevent them from shifting. Carpet tape features adhesives on both sides. This double-sided adhesion ensures that the carpet adheres firmly to both the floor and the carpet itself.

High-quality PP carpet tape with very high adhesive strength is ideal for laying permanent carpets and floor tiles on rough substrates such as concrete, wood and chipboard without glue. Permanent carpet tape is suitable for firm and long-lasting adhesion of most types of carpet.

Laying carpet with carpet tape

Carpet tape has a simple installation, follow the step-by-step plan below.

1. Make sure both the carpet and the floor are clean and dry before applying carpet tape. Remove any dust, dirt, or moisture to ensure optimal adhesion.
2. Measure and cut the carpet tape to size, taking into account the size of the carpet and the desired placement.
3. Remove the protective layer on one side of the tape to expose the adhesive side.
4. Place the carpet tape along the edges of the carpet, pressing firmly to make sure it adheres well.
5. Next, remove the protective layer on the other side of the tape and position the carpet in the desired location on the floor. Press firmly to achieve good adhesion.
