Soda blasting is a very effective method of cleaning and depainting when one or more of the following points is important:

  • No roughening at all of the surface, therefore conventinal abrasives cannot be used.
  • The softness of soda blast media will prevent damages to e.g. (surrounding) rotary or hydraulic parts.
  • Because JWL Sodablasting is 100% water soluble it's ensured that no residue is left behind in e.g. engines or process installations

Sodablasting removes anti-fouling paint from boat without damaging the hull. Sodablasting removes varnish and doesn’t damage seals(rubber or plastic). Sodablasting cleans paint off glass surfaces or window frames without damaging the glass or rubber seals. Sodablasting removes varnish from wooden furniture. Sodablasting is gentle and environmentally friendly.

Soda Mineral Abrasive works well
I processed the Soda Mineral Blasting Medium with an existing blasting gun. The compressor gives 7 bar. The cast iron object has a layer of paint, which came off well with this soda. So it works well.
