FINIXA Dust & Gas Filtering Cartridge A2 P3 for Spray Mask - 2 pieces

APPLICATION
Combined filter 2071 A2P3 R D, after completion with a half-mask or mask protects the respiratory system against organic gases and against organic gases and against the vapours of organic substances which have the boiling point over 65 °C. It protects also against dusts, fumes and mists. Permissible concentration of the vapours and gases is 0.5% vol. and the concentration of the dispersed phase may not exceed 20 x MPV.

The most common substances the combined filter 2071 A2P3 R D protects: glutaraldehyde, acetic acid, dimethyl sulfate, pesticides, kitchen fumes, gasoline engine exhaust, diesel engine exhaust and all the other substances eliminated by the gas filter 2021 A2.

CHARACTERISTICS
Combined filter 20671 A2P3 R D has a form of a black, cylindrical box made of plastic (polypropylene) with the diameter of 80 mm and with the height of 60 mm. Over the box there is also placed a white plastic cover with the diameter of 70 mm and with the height of 12 mm. These both elements are firmly connected with a black plastic ring. The black cartridge box (adsorber) is filled with the sorption material based on activated carbon. The white part (filter) holds a pleated filtering material of high filtering efficiency based on glass fibers. In the lower part of the cartridge there is a connector which enables connection with the face piece of the mask with the help of a bayonet lock:
1. Half-masks: SECURA 2000, Advantage 200
2. masks: Advantage 1000, Advantage 3000
On the side wall of the cartridge there is a white and brown label with the product information. Combined filters are packed by two pieces into hermetically closed protective plastic bag.

REQUIREMENTS
Combined filters 2071 A2P3 R D fulfill the requirements of: the Directive 89/686/EEC and harmonized European Standard EN-14387:2004 + A1:2008

RECOMENDATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS IN USE

• Combined filters should not be applied when the concentration of the oxygene in the air is lower than 17% vol. and in small, not properly ventilated chambers.
• Cartridges do not protects against carbon monoxide
• Do not use combined filters (nor half-mask) while the contamination has no smell.
• When the characteristic smell of a harmful substance can be distinguished or the breathing resistance increase it is necessary to leave the harmful area and replace both cartridges with the new ones.
• Combined filters may be applied only according to the instruction of use
• It is also necessary to learn the using instructions of the half-mask and mask which are applied with the combined filters.

FASTENING INSTRUCTION

• Take the combined filters out of the protective bag.
• Verify the identification data (colour of the code, letter designation), to make sure that the combined filters 2071 A2P3 R D are adequate for a given application.
• Connect the combined filters to the half-mask at the bayonet lock at the right position.
• Turn it clockwise until it is finally fastened.

STORAGE
Combined filters should be stored in dry storage rooms, free from harmful vapours and gases at the temperature keep in the range between −5 °C - +40 °C and relative humidity of the air below 80%. They also should not be stored together with toxic or harmful substances nor with materials emitting unpleasant smell or acting aggressively with the elements used for their production. Unacceptable is also storage in places with strong operation of sunlight or closer than 1 m from heating devices. Combined filters should be stored only in the original package.

DURABILITY
The warranted period of the storage of the combined filters originally packed is 5 years from the production date.
