Metallic Black spray paint in aerosol
CROP Metallic Black spray paint is a professional aerosol with mica silver particles in the black lacquer. The paint contains HPHC technology, which guarantees high opacity and high-pressure for a fantastic end result. The spray cap ensures a fantastic and fine spray width where the black metallic particles are evenly distributed. If desired, the spray cap can be set horizontally and vertically. Therefore, it is suitable for spraying both small and large surfaces.
Use clear coat
This black metallic paint is a 1-component paint that has a fast drying time. A 1K paint is still vulnerable to external influences. In order to protect the paint, we recommend using a clear coat. A clear coat acts as a protective layer and also provides a gloss degree. You can choose from high gloss, satin gloss and matte.
Is a primer necessary?
A good adhesion is of great importance. By using primer, the paint strongly adheres to the surface that you would like to spray. If the surface is already provided with paint in good condition, then it is sufficient to only slightly sand and degrease the surface.

How much can I spray with a spray can?
A 400ml spray can covers approximately 1.5 to 2 m², depending on the material porosity and layer thickness. For larger projects or multiple layers, we recommend accounting for an extra 10% to ensure you don't run out halfway through.
Should clear coat be applied over car paint?
Yes, you should use clear coat over 1K automotive paint to protect the color. When buying clear coat, you have options such as high-gloss, satin, and matte, as well as 1K and 2K. 2K clear coat is the original factory high-gloss finish and is the most commonly chosen varnish.
How many layers of car paint should I apply?
The number of layers of automotive paint you need to apply depends on the coverage of the color. Usually, 3 layers are sufficient. However, for lighter color paints that have less coverage, we recommend applying an additional layer of color until you achieve the desired result.
How long should car paint cure?
The curing time for automotive paint depends on temperature, humidity, and layer thickness. At higher temperatures, the curing process is faster compared to lower temperatures. Additionally, 1K automotive paint dries faster than 2K automotive paint.
What is the drying time for car paint?
The drying time of automotive paint is determined by 3 factors: layer thickness, temperature, and humidity. We recommend monitoring this yourself until the paint is dust-dry. Once this is the case, the paint can be over-sprayed with clear coat or handled!
How long is a 2K spray can usable after activation?
24 hours. After activating the 2K spray can, the two components will mix, starting the curing process, making the spray can usable for 24 hours.
