2K clear coat is a transparent lacquer consisting of 2 components. A 2K clear coat is scratch-resistant, petrol-resistant, weather-resistant and UV-resistant. 2K clear coat has been voted the best clear coat for over base coat and colour coat.
2K Clear Varnish is applied with a spray can or sprayer. A 2K aerosol can of clear lacquer is applied by means of a spray, so you do not need a special paint sprayer. If you have 2K clear coat in a can, you apply it with a spray gun.
The difference between 1K and 2K clear coat is that a 2-component clear coat is scratch-resistant, petrol-resistant and chemical-resistant. However, the difference between 1K and 2K clear coat is that a 1K clear coat is fast-drying and a 2K clear coat needs to dry longer because it consists of 2 components.
Which 2K lacquer is best can vary from user to user and application to application. It was recently declared that CROP 2K lacquer is best under all conditions and at different temperatures. It is also best to apply CROP 2K lacquer over all paints and lacquer types.
