How do you remove adhesive residues
Are there adhesive residues on your car from a sticker or car wrap? Removing adhesive residues from the car can be tricky without damaging the paint. To remove adhesive residues without scratching, it’s best to use a caramel wheel. This is a rubber grinding wheel specifically designed to remove adhesive residues without damaging the car paint
How much can I spray with a spray can?
A 400ml spray can covers approximately 1.5 to 2 m², depending on the material porosity and layer thickness. For larger projects or multiple layers, we recommend accounting for an extra 10% to ensure you don't run out halfway through.
What is the drying time for RAL spray paint?
The drying time of RAL spray paint depends on temperature, layer thickness, humidity, and the temperature of the object you're spraying. These factors can affect the drying time of the car paint. However, this RAL paint is known for its quick drying time. This means the paint will be dust-dry after 10 minutes and can be overpainted with clear coat after 15 minutes.
Should I finish RAL paint with clear coat?
Finishing RAL color paint with a clear coat is always a good idea! However, if you're using the spray paint indoors, it’s not immediately necessary to protect the color from external influences. If you're using the RAL paint outdoors, where it needs to be more resistant to weather, acids, scratches, and impacts, we always recommend spraying a clear coat over the RAL paint!
Is primer necessary to use?
Basically, primer is necessary to ensure the paint adheres to the surface according to the RAL number. However, if you're spraying this paint over existing paint that is already in good condition, it is not necessary to use a primer. If you're unsure whether a bonding primer is needed, we always recommend using it! Sand off any loose paint first and apply a primer for the best adhesion and durability of the spray paint.
