CROP Primer Filler Black VS5 is a fast-drying primer for iron, plastic, steel, zinc, aluminum, metal and sanded surfaces. CROP black primer filler spray has a high anti-corrosion protection and filling power. Due to the black color, the quick-drying primer is ideal as a universal primer for dark car paint.

CROP primer filler VS5 black is a professional primer that can be used on all types of paint. It is available in various levels of brightness to match the base and top coat. The drying time:

  • Dust dry after 5 minutes at 20°C
  • Recoatable after 30 minutes at 20°C
  • Can be sanded after 30 minutes at 20°C

How do I spray primer filler?

Learning how to apply CROP primer filler is very easy! Please follow the instructions below.

  1. Before spraying the primer, the surface must be free of dust and grease. Lightly sand the surface for a better adhesion.
  2. Shake spray can well for approximately 2 minutes.
  3. Spray 1 to 3 layers car filler with a spray distance of 20 to 30cm. Apply a flash off time between coats of 3 to 5 minutes.
  4. After the final coat, let primer dry for about 30 minutes at 20°C.
  5. Would you like to use the filler primer again next time? Turn the spray upside down and spray the nozzle empty until nothing comes out. Store it in a dark room.

Before using a spray can, make sure to shake it well. When spraying with a spray can, always work in a space that is at room temperature. The spray can itself should also be at room temperature.

How much can I spray with a spray can?

A 400ml spray can covers approximately 1.5 to 2 m², depending on the material porosity and layer thickness. For larger projects or multiple layers, we recommend accounting for an extra 10% to ensure you don't run out halfway through.

Do you need to sand primer

Once the primer is dry, you need to sand it. Sanding the primer smooths the surface and lightly roughens the primer layer. This helps the color car paint or 2K paint adhere better to the primer. If you don’t sand the primer, the paint will not adhere as well to the base coat.

How long is a 2K spray can usable after activation?

24 hours. After activating the 2K spray can, the two components will mix, starting the curing process, making the spray can usable for 24 hours.
