What is fly rust and how do I recognize it?

Fly rust comes from iron and is also called metal particles. You can recognize fly rust by small specks or spots you can see on car paint. When iron wears down, the metal particles fly off. These end up on the road which the car can pick up while driving. Fly rust is common in places where trains, streetcars and cars travel. Cars parked or driven there will therefore quickly have fly rust on the paintwork.

Fallout remover or fly rust remover. What's the difference?

A fallout remover and fly rust remover are products with the same effect: to remove fly rust. Both products are pH neutral and free of acids or chemicals. In addition to removing fly rust on the car, a fallout remover can also be used to remove burned-in brake dust. Brake dust that has been burned in occurs on rims that are not regularly cleaned. By spraying a fallout remover on the rim and letting it soak in for 5 minutes, it loosens the dirt so that you can remove burnt-in brake dust from the rim during washing.
