2. The best temperature to use the carburetor cleaner is between 10°C to 25°C.
3. Before you start, turn off the engine and let it cool down completely.
4. Now remove the air filter.
5. Spray the carburetor cleaner on the outside of the carburetor until the dirt is gone.
6. Spray the visible parts on the inside of the carburetor and let the product soak in.
7. Start the engine and let it idle. Spray the carburetor cleaner several times at the air intake and increase the engine speed. Turn off the engine and install the air filter.
8. Done! Your carburetor is now clean and like new.

Yes, you can clean the carburetor with brake cleaner if you know exactly what you are doing! Shake the brake cleaner spray can well before use so that all components are well mixed together. Very briefly spray the brake cleaner into the carburetor and immediately start the engine. When the engine runs, it will again suck gasoline from the carburetor. You may have to repeat this a few times before it actually works! Note that brake cleaner is not specifically designed to clean your carburetor.
