Wheel coating
Wheel coating
Wheel coating protects the paint on the wheel from stone chips, road salt, brake dust, rain and other weather influences. To apply yourself a wheel coating with a special sealant in the form of a wax, ceramic coating or glass coating. A rim coating also provides extra shine, depth and a super hydrophobic effect, which repels dirt and water. Applying a coating to your rims will keep the wheels looking nice, clean and shiny longer!
Step-by-step plan: how to apply wheel coating
Do you want to apply a wheel coating using a step-by-step plan? In a few simple steps, you can apply a coating to your wheels yourself, it will give the best protection to the paint on your wheel. Before applying a wheel coating, always read the product manual. Follow it at all times for the correct application!

- Dispense a small amount of wheel coating onto the applicator pad.
- Apply the wheel coating to the rims in a smooth motion.

Although the products are very similar, a wheel wax differs from a wheel coating. Here is a list of the differences between the two:
- Wheel wax offers a higher gloss
- Wheel coating stays on longer

- With a wheel coating, you get a higher hydrophobic effect
- Wheel wax can be applied under the sun (a coating cannot).
- Polishing is necessary with a wheel coating (not with a wheel wax).
