Gliss V2 by Carpo is an ultra-smooth coating that can be applied as a topcoat on top of existing CarPro CQuartz ceramic coatings or as a stand-alone coating to protect car paint. CarPro Gliss V2 is a ceramic nanocoating with extreme hydrophobic properties for a water-beading effect.

Smooth and water repellent coating

CarPro Gliss V2 is a super smooth glass coating that you can easily apply yourself! The nano coating provides excellent protection against water stains and increases resistance to static accumulation of dirt and dust.

How do I use CarPro's glass coating?

You can apply a glass coating yourself with CarPro Gliss. Use the step-by-step plan below.

1. Wash the vehicle with CarPro Reset to remove contaminants and disinfect car paint.
2. Polish with CarPro Reflect. If you have deep scratches, we recommend using CarPro ClearCut.
3. Wipe off with CarPro Eraser. The vehicle should be completely dry.
4. Apply 2 lines of coating along the length of the supplied suede applicator.
5. Apply evenly over the surface in one section about 60x60cm at a time.
6. Each overlap from one section to the next should be done within a few minutes for even application.
7. If necessary, add more product to the applicator to maintain a wet, even application.
8. Wipe off residue immediately with a microfiber cloth to prevent haze (haze) from forming.
9. If haze remains too long, reapply glass coating and wipe off immediately.
10. If you wish to apply multiple coats, wait 1 hour between applying another coat.
11. If the glass coating is cured with an infrared lamp, you can repeat the application immediately.
12. The total curing time is 6 hours.

If you want to apply the glass coating as a top coat on top of an existing CQuartz coating you may do so after a minimum of 4 hours or from 45 minutes if using infrared lamp.
