Epoxy casting resin

Epoxy casting resin for castings that need to be transparent and hard. A casting resin epoxy can be used on a table, bar, kitchen top and at coins. In addition, an epoxy casting resin is suitable for casting wood. This casting resin is suitable for any kind of wood, including scrap wood, scaffolding wood and more! Once casting is dry, the casting resin becomes tremendously hard, scratch-resistant, abrasion-resistant and UV-resistant. After casting wood with an epoxy casting resin, your wood table will be protected from scratches, discoloration and other heavy use for years to come.

How to apply resin?

Applying casting resin is done in 6 steps. Make sure you follow the steps below to properly apply epoxy resin. Always read the instructions on how to apply the resin before use. Different brands may differ from each other.

  1. Mix the casting resin with hardener. Be sure to use the correct mixing ratio at all times. Usually this is 2.5 parts casting resin with 1 part hardener.
  2. Stir the 2K casting resin thoroughly so that the 2 components are carefully mixed together. Preferably with a machine and stirrer. Make sure you stir casting resin for at least 3 minutes.
  3. Pour the epoxy resin into a new can.
  4. Now again stir the resin thoroughly for 3 minutes.
  5. Pour the resin over the surface.
  6. Let the casting resin dry for 2 days.
  7. Done!
