When painting wheels, you have various colors of wheel paint to choose from. Besides different colors of paint for your wheels, you also have different qualities. The color silver wheel paint is the standard aluminum silver metallic color originally used by car manufacturers to paint wheels. Nowadays, more cars have wheels in matte black, glossy black, anthracite, or Gunmetal Grey. You can buy all types of wheel paint in spray cans and tins from us!
Restoring Wheels with Filler for Curb Damage
Are your wheels damaged by curb scrapes? You can repair this curb damage by applying filler and sanding. By applying filler to the rim of the wheel, it returns to its original shape, making the edge smooth and neat again. Always use a 2K filler for easy application and sanding.

- Make sure the wheels are removed from the car.
- Thoroughly clean the wheel with a powerful degreaser.
- Sand both the inside and outside of the wheel with sandpaper to roughen up or remove the old paint layer.
- Clean the wheel again with a degreaser. The wheel must be completely clean and dust-free before you continue with the wheel paint.
- Spray the wheel with primer. We recommend using an epoxy primer for the best adhesion!
- Once the primer has cured, lightly sand it to achieve a smooth surface.
- Degrease the wheel again to ensure it's completely dust-free.
- Spray the wheel with your chosen color. Apply multiple coats of spray paint until you achieve the desired coverage.
- Once the paint is dry to the touch, seal it with a 2K clear coat.
- Apply a first thin mist layer of clear coat, followed by two full coats.
- Allow the paint to dry dust-free for 24 hours and fully cure before reinstalling the wheels on the car.
