Bison Poly Max High Tack Express is a transparent assembly adhesive and sealant with high initial adhesion a fast final strength build-up. Montagekit polymax is also suitable for sealing cracks in walls and ceilings.

Bison sealant polymax is suitable for gluing, mounting and sealing different surfaces.

• Bonding: glass, stone, natural stone, concrete, plaster, many plastics, wood, chipboard, Trespa, iron, aluminum, zinc, steel, mirrors, stainless steel, etc.
• Fitting: wainscoting, battens, skirting boards, window sills, thresholds, fascias, sheet metal, drywall, mouldings etc.
• Sealing: window frames, stair treads, window sills, thresholds and drywall

How do I use Bison Polymax adhesive?

Use only at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C

1. The surface must be clean, dust-free and dry for maximum adhesion.
2. Glue and mount: Apply sealant in stripes or dots (every 10-40 cm) plus always at corner points and along edges of sheet material.
3. Position material within 10 minutes and press firmly or tap lightly with a rubber mallet.
4. If necessary, clamp or fix heavy materials for 4 hours.
5. Hand-tight after 30 minutes, the joint is now sufficiently strong for transport or light loading.
6. Maximum final strength after approx. 4 hours, depending on substrate (at least 1 porous material) and ambient conditions.
7. Sealing: Apply sealant evenly to the bottom of the joint and smooth within 10 minutes with a moist (soapy water without lemon) putty knife, sealant spreader or finger.
8. Smooth vertical joints from bottom to top.
9. Complete curing after a few days (depending on layer thickness).
10. When repainting with alkyd paints, the paint may dry more slowly.
11. Use white spirit to remove wet glue residues.
