B-TEC IR-X2 is a shortwave infrared paint dryer with 2 cassettes and a total output of 2040 watts. It is connected to the mains at 230 volt and has a large drying area of 60 x 80cm. This infrared dryer is suitable for very fast drying of all types of automotive primers, paints and varnishes. The 2 separate cassettes can be rotated and fixed in place in several positions and can be switched on separately.

The IR-X2 from B-TEC is a 2040 watt infrared paint dryer, which considerably shortens the drying time of car paint. In contrast to medium and long wave infrared radiation, short wave infrared radiation penetrates the coating and heats it from the inside. The complete sealing of the paint surface with still wet paint layers underneath is effectively prevented. This leads to a perfect drying result and avoids problems such as bubbling and incorrect drying of the finish. The 2 cassettes are attached to a height-adjustable hydraulic arm for optimal reach. Thanks to the solid base, the swivel wheels and a 10 metres long power cable, you can easily move the infrared dryer around in your workshop.

Adjustable drying intensity and timer

The B-TEC IR-X2 has a control panel with which you can adjust the drying intensity and the timer of the infrared paint dryer. Depending on the type of finish you want to dry, you can adjust the intensity yourself for optimal curing. With the timer, you can set the drying time yourself, so that the appliance switches on and off automatically.
