Alabastine Wood Rot Filler Professional repairs and fills damage caused by wood rot. Two component wood rot filler is suitable for all wooden substrates such as doors, stairs, window frames and furniture. Alabastine Wood Rot Filler Professional can only be used in combination with Alabastine Wood Rot Impregnator Professional.

Before using wood putty, fill deep holes first with Alabastine Wood Rot Filler. The filler remains flexible after curing and thus easily absorbs the action of the wood. After complete curing, the wood repair has the same properties as wood.

We recommend impregnating wood rot properly. Alabastine Wood Rot Impregnation Professional penetrates deep into rotten wood and prevents further deterioration. Alabastine impregnator strengthens affected wood, hardens soft wood again and ensures that it will last for years to come.

How do I use Alabastine wood rot filler?

Always use Alabastine wood rot filler in combination with Alabastine wood rot impregnator professional. Follow the steps below.

1. Check carefully with a screwdriver to where the wood is rotten. Soft and darker wood is rotten.
2. Remove rotted and loose wood as thoroughly as possible.
3. Sand the damage.
4. Make the surface dust-free with a brush and then grease-free with paint cleaner. Then let it dry thoroughly.
5. Impregnate the damage with Alabastine Wood Rot Impregnator Professional. This ensures optimum adhesion of the filler. Allow the impregnating agent to penetrate for 30 minutes.
6. Apply an equal amount of component A and B to a putty mixing board. Then mix both components well until a single homogeneous color is created.
7. Mix enough product to repair with but not more than you can process within 60 minutes, this is because of curing.
8. First apply a thin layer of filler.
9. Then fill the damage completely.
10. Tip: Use the Alabastine Repair Plates for easy creation of tight corners.
11. Sanding, planing and painting (primer) is possible after 4 hours of drying (at 20°C).
12. Clean tools with white spirit immediately after use.
13. Do not store and use below 5°C. Store in a dry place.
