It does not shrink, is permanently flexible and absorbs the movement of the wood so it does not crack. Wood repair remains invisible after painting and is repaintable with all types of paint or stain.

How do I use Alabastine wood repair 2 components?

Using Alabastine wood repair is very easy. Follow the step-by-step plan below.

1. Thoroughly remove loose parts.
2. Clean and dry the substrate.
3. Mix wood repair component 1 and component 2 thoroughly with a putty knife on a hard surface until an even color is obtained.
4. The mixing ratio should always be 1:1. Easy: take an equal amount from both tubes/cans.
5. Do not prepare more than can be processed within 30 minutes because of curing.
6. Apply wood repair with a putty knife.
7. For setting corners or for larger repairs we recommend using Alabastine Repair Plates.
8. Planing, sanding, painting, etc. is possible after 6 hours (at 20°C).
