Alabastine Wood Put ty helps with smoothing out grain, scratches and small imperfections. Wood putty alabastine is suitable for all types of wood, painted or unpainted.

Fill deep holes first with Alabastine Wood Rot Filler. Careful filling and sanding is the basis for a professional end result. We recommend always working with a narrow and wide putty knife. You use the wide putty knife as a spatula on which wood putty lies. You use the narrow putty knife for the real putty work.

How do I use Alabastine wood filler?

Using the best wood filler is very easy. Follow the steps below.

1. Degrease the surface with paint cleaner and allow it to dry thoroughly.
2. For outdoor use: treat new and bare wood with a primer.
3. For indoor use: wood putty can be applied directly to wood.
4. Lightly sand surface for optimum adhesion.
5. Remove dust with a brush.
6. Spread wood filler thinly and evenly with a putty knife. Always work in layers of maximum 1 mm, this prevents cracking and sagging.
7. After drying (approx. 1 hour) sand the surface and top it off with all types of paints and stains.
8. Clean tools with warm water.
